Leadership

Marissa Seligman, PharmD, CCMEP, Chief, Clinical & Regulatory Affairs and Compliance Officer and Senior VP
As the Chief Clinical & Regulatory Affairs and Compliance Officer for DBC Pri-Med, LLC. and Senior Vice President, pmiCME (formerly Pri-Med Institute). Dr. Seligman oversees the accredited provider operations of pmiCME and manages DBC Pri-Med, LLC. company's compliance programs and activities, as well as medical and clinical affairs and editorial services. She is a member of the Senior Executive Leadership Team of DBC Pri-Med, LLC., (parent organization of Pri-Med). Dr. Seligman is extensively involved in continuing education for healthcare professionals. She was elected to the Board of National Association of Medical Education Companies (NAMEC) in 2009 and now is President of the organization. She also is a member of the Founding Board of the National Commission on Certification of CME Professionals (NC-CME), serving from 2006-2011 as Secretary and now as a member of the Board. Dr. Seligman obtained her CCMEP certification from the NC-CME in 2008. She has held leadership positions in the Alliance for Continuing Medical Education (ACME) and held leadership positions for this group (2006 Chair-Elect and Chair 2007-2009). Dr. Seligman is currently Editor-in-Chief of the ALMANAC, the monthly publication of the ACME and has served on the Editorial Board for a number of journals. Dr. Seligman is an Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) site surveyor and Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) field surveyor. In addition to her extensive experience in education for healthcare professionals, Dr. Seligman has held a variety of manager and senior executive positions in publishing, clinical drug development, medical affairs and communications, regulatory affairs and compliance. Prior to joining DBC Pri-Med, LLC., she was at Bayer Incorporated, ViroPharma Incorporated, SCP Communications and Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Seligman earned a bachelors in pharmacy from Long Island University, her PharmD from Northeastern University and completed her residency in Hospital Pharmacy and Drug Information at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Medical Directors

Alyce Kuklinski, MSN, ANP - Medical Director
Ms. Kuklinski joined pmiCME in 2002. Before assuming the role of Medical Director in 2007, she served as pmiCME’s Editorial Director (2005-2007) as well as the Director of Accreditation (2003-2005). Ms. Kuklinski holds an undergraduate degree from Duke University as well as a master’s degree in nursing from the MGH Institute of Health Profession. While at MGH, she was awarded the Judith Fong Bressler Award for Clinical Excellence in Nursing Practice. In addition to her past experience in clinical nursing as an adult and women’s health nurse practitioner, Ms. Kuklinski has experience in clinical research and public health, and has worked within the healthcare industry in program management, medical writing and editing, and project management.
Marc Mosier, MD - Medical Director
Dr. Mosier has over 20 years experience in medicine and surgery, both as a clinician and contributor to a multitude of research/development and business efforts in such areas as drug development, drug delivery, clinical medicine, orthopedics, biologics, and space medicine. Prior to joining pmiCME, Dr. Mosier was Medical Director and Director of Clinical Research for a consulting firm focused on establishing clinical solutions and medical innovations for the pharmaceutical-biotech and medical device industry, government, and various medical fields through creation of strategic alliances and pivotal clinical studies. Dr. Mosier also brings experience as Director of Medical Affairs, where he has successfully led teams of clinicians to provide medical, surgical, scientific, and clinical expertise to support business development, strategic planning, clinical affairs, technical training, and patient risk assessment. His current interests reside in establishing innovative medical education platforms which facilitate translation of evidence-based knowledge into clinical practice and improved patient outcomes.
Carolyn Skowronski, PharmD - Associate Medical Director
Ms. Skowronski practiced as a clinical pharmacist for over 15 years in leading New England medical centers. She honed her skills writing medical education and clinical study protocols as the HIV/AIDS research pharmacist at Yale-New Haven Hospital, and collaborated with regulatory, scientific, and marketing groups during her tenure as primary medical consultant for Bayer anti-infective and urology product lines. Since joining DBC Pri-Med, LLC., Ms. Skowronski has focused on creating continuing medical education for primary care physicians and specialists. As a clinician and educator, she is dedicated to delivering relevant and timely information that ultimately advances patient care.

Accreditation

Kristin Fludder, BS, CCMEP - Sr. Accreditation Manager
Ms. Fludder is responsible for the Institute's compliance with the accreditation standards set forth by the ACPE, ACCME, AANP, and ANCC. As such, she oversees the planning, execution, and evaluation processes for all certified educational content to ensure that pmiCME’s goals and missions are met. Ms. Fludder works closely with the pmiCME clinical editorial staff, medical directors, and support staff to set policy and serve as a resource for accreditation and compliance related issues. She has 10 years of experience in accreditation and education in both the hospital and academic setting and has been with the institute over five years. She is an active member of the Alliance for Continuing Medical Education and the North American Association of Medical Education and Communication Companies.

Grant Procurement

Jonathan Ackerman - Director of Educational Grants Development
Mr. Ackerman serves as pmiCME’s direct liaison to our community of commercial supporters. Working with a broad spectrum of educational partners, his role is to forge educational grant initiatives that address documented clinical needs in the medical community and to raise unrestricted funding for their support among similarly-aligned healthcare companies. With more than 15 years in medical communications, Mr. Ackerman received his BA from Bucknell University and is an active member of the Alliance for Continuing Medical Education
